Of course you do! A while ago, the folks at Blaine Pharmaceuticals sent me over a sample of the very cool ReliaDose which is designed to help moms get their kids to take their medicine. SUB is a druggie at heart, and will suck the Tylenol out of the dropper if we let him, so this isn’t too much of an issue around these parts. But, I know some of you out there really struggle with getting your kids to take their meds. That great commercial where the kid is hiding under the bed refusing to take his cold medicine comes to mind…
Here is what their website has to say about this neat invention:
ReliaDose®
The Easy Way to Give Medicine to Your Baby.Invented by a mom, ReliaDose® is a patented pediatric medicine delivery system that is easy to use, accurate, and masks the taste of medicine.
ReliaDose® is specifically designed to work with a child’s natural desire to feed from a bottle
while ensuring complete and gentle dosing of medication. The dual-chamber nipple allows medication to be passed directly into the baby’s mouth through the inner chamber of the nipple, while the outer chamber delivers formula or juice, surrounding and masking the taste of the medicine. The inner syringe ensures dosing accuracy.
So if you want something for free, here’s the deal. Write a post on your blog telling a story about a time that your kids refused to take their meds. Did you end up covered in purple goo when they spit it all out at you? Did you have to peel them off the rafters after they freaked out over the idea of a dropper? Or maybe you just have a funny story relating to giving their kids their meds.
Give me your best story, and don’t forget to include a link back to this post.
You have till Monday the 13th at midnight to come up with your best story. I will then pick the winning post, and you will get a shout out here and the loot.
Sound like a plan? Then go forth and write your hearts out!

I agreed to do a review on this product not realizing, at first, that it is meant for babies up to 18 months old. I was actually bummed that I wouldn’t be able to use it. I just sent mine off to a fellow blog readers, so I am curious to see if this really works as well as they claim. It’s a super-cool invention!!
I’m in the same situation as Melissa. I actually took a little longer for them to send it to me and by then Baby Bug was weened off the bottle. It was very rough going so I really don’t think I’ll be trying this out on her. I do plan to have a friend test it out, though. It seems like a great idea!
As a mother of three i have always had trouble giving my babies medicine. my littlest one is 6 months and he takes a med for acid reflux everyday twice a day. so it can be a really horrible time trying to figure out if he had gotten the entire dose or if he had spit majority of it it out. this is definitely a great invention and would love to try it.
