Pink or Blue?

The countdown is on…in about 4 weeks we will have our big ultrasound. The one where we find out if Spitup boy will have a little brother or sister to beat up on.

So I want to throw it out there to you dear readers, what is your prediction?

For what it’s worth, there are a few things different this time around than last. My morning sickness is actually better than it was with SUB. I would throw up in my sleep the first time around, now it’s more manageable. I craved sweet things with SUB, and this time I am all about the salty stuff.

Naked Boy

Spitup boy can now officially take his clothes off. Which means that he has pretty much been naked for most of the day. I can’t keep a diaper on him to save my life….I just put a diaper, a cover, a onesie and a pair of pants on him. 2 minutes later he stands before me naked as the day he was born.

What’s even more fun, he also figured out how to use the copier on the printer. You can use your imagination as to what I now how documented forever on paper. It’s totally going in the scrapbook.

Once again, I turn to duct tape. It really does sound like the only solution to my problem…

  • Zofran, dear Zofran…how I love thee.

I had my 10 week checkup yesterday, and little refried bean is going strong with a heartbeat of 150. I also got a prescription for Zofran for the nausea and morning sickness, and I forgot just how wonderful the drug really is. It tastes like crap going down, but as long as I can last long enough to let it dissolve the rest is gravy. For the first time in a month, I don’t feel like I may throw up at any moment.

The clouds have lifted….and there is a light.

Now, if my toddler would just stop being sick, I could actually leave the house without fear of throwing up in a public place!

    Turning into a hermit.

I have been out of sorts lately. Tired and sick, and just not really wanting to leave the house lately. When I do manage to get out, I spend the entire time mapping a route to the bathroom in case the morning sickness strikes.

Last night at Wal-mart I thought my worst fear was going to become a reality, but I held it together long enough to get out the door.

My friends are starting to bug me about not going to stuff, but I really just don’t have the energy. Tell me it will get better in a few weeks…lie to me and tell me that the second trimester will be better….
