It’s officially been 3 weeks of straight giveaways and I am a little sad to see it come to an end. When it comes to “going green” I think it’s all about the little things. There are so many little things that you can do in your day-to-day life that makes a huge impact on the world around us. For me it started with the cloth diapers and cloth wipes. Then I gave up plastic bags for reusable grocery bags and gave up paper towels in lieu of cloth wipes and rags. I soon discovered the world of natural soaps, cleaners and detergents and recently the mama cloth. It was just a natural progression of things. Our home was even built with energy efficiency in mind, and we use energy efficient bulbs and appliances and got a radiant barrier installed in the roof to saving on heating and cooling.

Today’s goodie was something that I originally found for myself, and then begged the maker to offer up a set for my readers. She was more than happy to help out. I have a set of Unsponges from River City Boutique up for grabs today.

Everyone loves books, and when it comes to kids I really don’t think you can ever have enough of them!
